The pot

The earthenware jar is a traditional and authentic vessel made of fired clay, distinguished by its spherical shape, two side handles, and natural earthy color adorned with traditional black decorations. Historically, it was primarily used for cooking and preparing traditional dishes that require slow and gentle cooking, as well as for storing and preserving food. Today, it can be modernized and given contemporary uses that blend heritage with reality, such as transforming it into a "ballot box" or an official container for drawing lots in meetings and institutions. This can be achieved by placing it on a wide earthenware tray surrounded by ballot papers, and equipping its lid with a slot for inserting the papers, along with a sign bearing the words "ballot box," adding a warm and authentic artistic touch that expresses cultural identity.
